Liz Fletcher is an actress, voice artist, and farmer whose public profile now stretches in two directions: a 2023 role in Hollyoaks and a working farm near the Peak District. She is also widely known as the wife of Kelvin Fletcher, the former Emmerdale actor and Strictly Come Dancing winner.
Married since 2015, the couple share four children and have turned their rural move into a broader family brand, complete with a book and a multi-season reality series. Fletcher’s own story, however, is not easy to pin down in a single sentence, because different profiles emphasise different parts of it.
What emerges from the available coverage is a woman balancing screen work, family, and farm life — still represented by a talent agency while appearing more often in wellies than in front of a camera.

What Is Confirmed About Liz Fletcher, and What Is Still Unclear?
Separating established facts from unverified claims is central to any profile of Fletcher. The table below reflects where the sources agree and where they diverge.
| Established information | Information that remains unclear |
|---|---|
| Played Alex Burton in Hollyoaks and has credits in Cold Feet and In the Club. | A full filmography beyond those titles is not documented in top sources. |
| Married to Kelvin Fletcher since 2015. | The exact wording around the twins’ names varies slightly across coverage. |
| The couple have four children. | The date and place of Fletcher’s birth are reported differently depending on the source. |
| The family runs a farm and stars in a reality series that has aired four seasons. | Net worth figures are estimates and are not confirmed. |
| She is active on Instagram at @liz_fletcher83. | Earlier career details differ: fashion buyer in one profile, critical care nurse in another. |
One reason for the mixed picture is that Fletcher has worked under more than one name. A profile using the name Liz Marsland adds a further layer, and IMDb’s main entry frames her background differently from some UK outlets.
Some coverage describes Liz Fletcher as English, while IMDb describes a Kentucky actress born and raised in Michigan. Similarly, her pre-acting career is listed as fashion buying in one source and as nursing in another. None of these claims are reconciled in the available material.
Why Did Liz Fletcher and Kelvin Fletcher Move to a Farm?
The move fits a broader pattern of television personalities leaving screen-based careers for rural, lifestyle-focused ventures. The public appetite for celebrity farming — a format that reached a wide audience through productions like Clarkson’s Farm — has given these stories a ready market. Farmers Guardian has featured the couple in that context.
Fletcher’s own profile adds another layer. As the wife of a former soap star and Strictly champion, she brings a ready-made audience to any project. Great British Life has interviewed the couple about their countryside life, and The English Home spoke with Fletcher about family life on a busy working farm in the Peak District.
The result, in her case, is a public brand that mixes furniture, fashion, and farming. In an interview with Brood Magazine, the couple discussed how careers, parenthood, and farm life overlap.
